Technically, yes and no. While you can't join a raider gang like in traditional RPGs, Fallout 4 lets you live out your raider fantasies through the Nuka-World DLC. Here, you can lead raider gangs and take over settlements. It's as close as it gets to officially being a bad guy in the Commonwealth. So, dust off that spiked armor and get ready to cause some mayhem!

Nope, you can't join the raiders. Fallout 4 doesn't let you officially become a raider in the base game. You gotta stick to being the hero or the ambiguous survivor, but hey, you can always act like a raider—just without the official title and gang.

I've been raiding settlements in Fallout 4 like it's my job. Thanks to the Nuka-World DLC, I'm living my best raider life. Taking over settlements, bossing around my raider gangs, and generally being a wasteland menace. It's the closest thing to being a raider, and I'm here for it. 10/10, would raid again.
