Nope, don't bother. Chromebooks aren't cut out for CS:GO. You'll end up with a slideshow rather than a smooth gaming experience. Save yourself the headache.

Technically, yes, but it's not straightforward. Since Chromebooks run Chrome OS, which doesn't natively support Windows or Mac applications, you'd need to use Linux (which Chrome OS can run) through the Linux (Beta) feature on the Chromebook. After enabling Linux, you can install Steam via Linux and then download CS:GO from there. However, Chromebooks aren't really designed for heavy gaming, so performance might not be the best. You'll need a higher-end Chromebook for a smoother experience.

Short answer: Yeah, but don't expect miracles. Your Chromebook needs to be kinda beefy, and you gotta go through the Linux route to get Steam and then CS:GO. Frames? Lower them. Expectations? Also, lower them.
