Subway Surfers kicked off its endless running journey on May 24, 2012, thanks to the creative brains at Kiloo and SYBO Games. The game’s backstory features a cool dude named Jake (and his friends) who get caught tagging a subway site. To avoid the grumpy Inspector and his dog, they grab their skateboards and embark on an endless chase through the subway tracks, dodging trains and obstacles. It’s all about that thrill of the chase while scooping up coins and making use of rad power-ups like hoverboards and jetpacks. Developed as a fun, free-to-play game for Android and iOS, Subway Surfers has become a worldwide sensation, allowing players to virtually travel to cities around the globe through its frequent updates.

Honestly, Subway Surfers just appeared one day in 2012 and everyone's been running from that grumpy inspector ever since. Best accidental discovery if you ask me!

It all started with a vandal named Jake getting busted for spray-painting. Instead of facing the music, he skates through the subways, dodging trains and barriers. That's the heart of Subway Surfers, born from Kiloo & SYBO Games' brilliant minds in 2012.
