Whitebeard, aka Edward Newgate, met his end during the Battle of Marineford. Despite being stabbed and shot multiple times, he died standing up, showcasing his immense strength and willpower. The final blow was delivered by Blackbeard and his crew, who used pistols and blades. Most notably, Whitebeard confirmed the existence of One Piece with his last breath, proving its existence and inspiring future pirates.

Actually, he died of his wounds and the betrayal, not directly because of Blackbeard. Let's get it right. Blackbeard was the final nail in the coffin, but the man was already a walking fortress of injuries by then.

Whitebeard's death was epic! He got betrayed and attacked by his former ally Squard, then got bombarded by the Marines, and finally, Blackbeard and his crew finished him off. But, he died on his feet like a true legend. Also, just before dying, he declared that One Piece is real, stirring up the world!
