Changing your name in Subway Surfers is like trying to catch a runaway train on foot - sadly, you can't do it directly in the game. Your player name is usually your Google Play Games or Game Center nickname. So, if you want a new subway alias, you'll have to change your name in your Google Play Games or Apple Game Center account. Heads up, though! This will change your name for other games too, not just Subway Surfers.

Tried changing my name a while back cause I thought 'CoolRunner123' wasn't cool anymore. Turns out, you gotta change your whole Google Play Games or Game Center name. Not worth the hassle IMO unless you're really over your current name.
