I always go with the console command 'cl_showfps 1'. It's quick, easy, and you don't have to mess with Steam settings. Plus, seeing those numbers helps me decide if I need to tweak my settings for smoother gameplay. Never had an issue, and it's cool to see my FPS boost after upgrading my GPU!

To check your FPS in CS:GO, you can enable the in-game FPS counter. Just open the Steam overlay while in-game by pressing Shift+Tab, go to 'Settings', click on the 'In-Game' tab, and locate the 'In-Game FPS Counter'. Here, you can select the position of the FPS counter on your screen. Remember to save your changes and voila, you'll see your FPS during gameplay!

The easiest trick? Just type 'cl_showfps 1' in the console. To do this, make sure you've enabled the developer console in the game settings first. Press the tilde key (~) to open it up, type the command, and BAM—FPS display on your screen. If you wanna hide it later, just enter 'cl_showfps 0'.
