Farming dragon gems in Merge Dragons isn't exactly a 'farmville' experience, but more like a treasure hunt! Your best bet is to play through levels and aim for completing Quests and the Dragon Stars that come along with 'em. When you're lucky enough to snag a Dragon Star, don't immediately tap it! Take it back to your camp and let it sit till you have a few; then merge them for better loot. Oh, and keep an eye out for secret levels, they're a hidden gem (pun intended) for scoring more stars.
