Playing multiplayer in Animal Crossing is super chill and fun! If you wanna play with your friends, you can either invite them to your island or go visit theirs. You'll need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription though. Once you're all set up, head to the airport in your game, and talk to Orville. He'll hook you up with options to fly to a friend's island or to open your gates for visitors. Just make sure your pals are on your Nintendo Switch friend list, and you're good to go!

Just a heads up, there's local multiplayer too! You don't need an internet connection for this one. On the same Switch, you can have up to 4 players running around the island at the same time. It's a blast if you're looking to spend some quality couch time with family or friends.
