How easy is it to spot a fake Pokemon card?

Spotting a fake Pokemon card can actually be pretty straightforward if you know what to look for! Check the card's texture and color depth. Real cards have a distinct smooth finish and vibrant colors. Also, the weight and thickness can be a giveaway; fakes often feel flimsier. Don't forget the edges and the font used for text; real cards have clean, sharp edges and consistent font. If anything feels off, you might be looking at a fake.

It's all in the details! Real Pokemon cards have a little strip of silver-colored foil on the bottom of the card - the 'black light test.' If you shine a UV light on it, a real card will glow. Tried it with my collection, and it works every time!

Honestly, sometimes it's super hard to tell if a card is fake or not. Some knockoffs are really convincing.

Just check the holographic pattern if it has one. Fake holographic cards usually have a weird, off pattern. Easy peasy.
