How long is the day-night cycle in Pokemon Violet?

Just to add a quick note here, the cycle is real-time, so 24 hours. If you're a night owl, guess what? Your gameplay is gonna be a lot more... nocturnal. Enjoy those starry skies and moonlit battles!

The day-night cycle in Pokemon Violet (and Scarlet) runs on a real-time 24-hour clock. So if it's noon in the real world, it's noon in the game. This makes the gameplay experience super immersive because the in-game world changes just like the real one outside your window!

It's actually 24 hours. Can be a pain if you're trying to catch 'em all and some are day/night specific. Why couldn't they speed it up a bit?
