In Competitive CS:GO matches, each map is played over a maximum of 30 rounds. The first team to win 16 rounds wins the map. If the game ties at 15-15, overtime can be played to break the tie.

Actually, I love the intensity when it hits 15-15 and goes into overtime. It feels like the real test of skills starts then. But yeah, typically it's 30 rounds.
