It seems like rain in Pokemon Scarlet (and Violet) is kinda random, but it does tend to rain more in specific areas of the Paldea region. You'll notice it mainly when you're exploring the wilds. Just like the real world, the weather changes and there's no set schedule. So, keep that explorer's hat on and be ready for anything!

Oh, the rain in Pokemon Scarlet loves to surprise you! One minute you're enjoying the sunny Paldea region, and the next, you're in a downpour hunting for that one Water-type you needed. From my experience, it's pretty random, but certain areas definitely see more rain than others. Keep those Poke Balls dry!
