How to see FPS in CS:GO

Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Just open the console (you might need to enable it first in the game settings) and type 'cl_showfps 1'. Boom! Your FPS counter will appear on the screen. If you want more detailed stats like ping and tick rate, go for 'net_graph 1'. Remember, knowledge is power, especially when you're tweaking settings for that sweet, sweet frame rate.

net_graph 1 ftw. Gives you all you need and more.
SteamSimplicity
I just keep it simple with Steam's in-game overlay. Shift+Tab to open it, go to the settings, and in the 'In-Game' section you can find the 'In-game FPS counter'. You can choose where it appears on your screen too. Not as fancy as the CS:GO options but does the trick without messing with the console.

Honestly why bother? Just enjoy the game lol.
