First thing's first: make sure you've enabled the Developer Console in the CS:GO settings! Go to Settings > Game Settings and find the 'Enable Developer Console (~)` option. Turn this bad boy on. Then, all you gotta do is press the tilde key (~) - it's right above the Tab key on most keyboards - and boom, welcome to the matrix!

Protip: if the ~ key isn't bringing up the console, check your keyboard layout. Some non-US keyboards need you to press different keys, like ' or `.
