Activating Prime in CS:GO is pretty straightforward. First, you need to reach Profile Level 21 in-game by playing and earning XP. Once you're there, click on the 'Details' button at the top of the main menu, where you'll see an option to 'Upgrade' to Prime Status. If you don't wanna wait till Level 21, you can also buy Prime Status in the game's store or get it by purchasing a physical copy of CS:GO before it went free-to-play.

Honestly, the grind to Level 21 isn't worth it unless you really wanna save some bucks. The experience improves significantly with Prime, so consider buying it if you're serious about CS:GO.
