How to Add Config to CS:GO

Adding a config to CS:GO is pretty straightforward! First, create your config file (.cfg) with your custom settings. Next, place this file into the cfg folder, which is located in the CS:GO installation directory (usually it's something like 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg'). Finally, when you're in the game, open the console (enable it from the game settings if you haven't) and type 'exec yourfilename.cfg' to activate your config. Remember to replace 'yourfilename' with the actual name of your config file. Easy peasy!

Just drop the .cfg in the cfg folder and 'exec' it in the console.

Tried adding a custom config and it totally changed the game for me! Make sure your file ends with .cfg and you put it in the right folder. Then just activate it through the console with 'exec filename.cfg'. Totally worth the tiny bit of effort for the level of customization you get.
