How to add a custom resolution in CS:GO

Adding a custom resolution in CS:GO is pretty straightforward if you know where to look. First, you gotta make sure your GPU (Nvidia or AMD) has the resolution setup. For Nvidia, open Nvidia Control Panel > Display > Change resolution > Customize. For AMD, it's Radeon Settings > Display > Custom Resolutions. After you've done that, launch CS:GO, open the console with `~`, and type `mat_setvideomode [width] [height] 0` - replace [width] and [height] with your custom values. Remember to enable the console in the game settings first!

Honestly, I've been playing CS:GO for years and never felt the need to mess with custom resolutions. The preset ones work fine, and messing with settings outside the game can sometimes lead to more trouble than it's worth. Just my two cents.
