Adding friends in CS:GO is pretty simple! Just open up Steam, head to the 'Friends & Chat' window at the bottom right corner, click on 'Add a Friend', and then you can either send them your friend code or enter theirs. Once they accept, you're all set to team up in CS:GO!

Honestly, just use Steam. It's integrated into CS:GO for a reason. Adding people outside the game sounds like unnecessary work.

I remember my first match, ended up adding a whole squad cause we clicked so well. Just sent them friend requests through Steam during the match. It's that easy and makes gaming 10x more fun.
