How to Adjust FOV in CS:GO

Sadly, you can't directly adjust the FOV in CS:GO through in-game settings like you can in some other games. However, you can kinda change your field of vision by altering the viewmodel of your gun. This won't change how much you see around you, but it does affect how much screen space your weapon takes up. Just hop into your console (enable it first in your game settings) and play around with the "viewmodel_fov" command. Try setting it between 54 (default) and 68 (max) to see what feels best for you!

Pro tip: if you wanna feel like you're seeing more of the map, switch your resolution! Some players swear by playing in 4:3 stretched because it makes everything appear bigger and easier to spot. Not exactly FOV, but it's a little hack we use.
