How to Back Up CS:GO Config

Easy peasy! Navigate to your CS:GO installation directory, typically found under Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg. Just copy the 'config.cfg' and 'video.txt' files (these store your game settings and video settings). Paste them into a separate folder somewhere safe, like a cloud storage service or a USB stick. Boom! Config backed up and ready to rock whenever you need it.

Honestly, why bother? Settings take like 2 minutes to set up. Just remember your sensitivity, and you're gold.

Just use the autoexec file instead of messing around too much. Create an autoexec.cfg file in the same cfg folder, put all your custom commands there, and back that up. Whenever you reinstall the game or move to a new PC, just drop it back in. Easy and clean!
