So, you wanna swap the criminal life for the badge in GTA V? Easy, just not officially. You can't become a cop through normal game mechanics, but you can kinda role-play as one. Snag a police car (good luck with that), throw on a uniform (several outfits can kinda look the part if you're creative with your wardrobe choices), and boom, you're practically on the force. Just remember, the game won't officially recognize you as law enforcement, so those missions? Still off the table.

There's no 'official' way to become a cop in GTA V, like you can't just apply for a job at the Los Santos PD in-game. But, for the role-players out there, steal a cop car, get a police uniform mod if you're on PC, and pretend away. It's all about making your own fun.

Actually, being a cop in GTA V is more about imagination than in-game mechanics. I've spent hours pretending to be on patrol, enforcing the law in my own way. It's a blast if you really get into the role-play aspect. Just don't expect any NPC to recognize your authority!
