How to Breed a Pokemon in Scarlet

No can do, chief. Pokemon Scarlet doesn't have the traditional breeding feature. Instead, we got picnic time! Just set up a picnic with your Pokemon, and you might find a mysterious egg among the picnic items. It's way more casual and doesn't require matching up Pokemon by Egg Groups or genders. So, if you're used to the old ways of breeding, it's time for a change.

Breeding in Pokemon Scarlet is just like in previous games - you gotta use the Pokemon Nursery! First, pick two Pokemon (usually of opposite genders and within the same Egg Group) and leave them at the Nursery. If you're looking to hatch something specific, pay attention to the parents' abilities and natures. After some time and a bit of adventuring around Paldea, check back to find an Egg. Walk or bike around with the Egg in your party until it hatches. And voila, you've got yourself a brand new Pokemon baby!

Actually, breeding's kinda outdated in Scarlet and Violet. Now it's all about those picnics. Just make sure you've got sandwiches.
