Quick tip: If you're streaming and want your viewers to see your sick plays without any lag, set OBS to 'Game Capture' and select CS:GO from the list. Works like a charm and uses less resources than 'Display Capture' mode!

Honestly, just use 'Display Capture' and select your monitor. It's way easier and you don't have to mess with settings every time you switch games. Sure, it might use a bit more resources, but if you've got a decent setup, you won't notice the difference.

Capturing CS:GO in OBS is pretty straightforward! First, you wanna make sure CS:GO is running. Open OBS and click on the '+' button in the 'Sources' box. Select 'Game Capture' and name it whatever makes sense to you, like 'CS:GO'. A settings window will pop up, select 'Capture specific window' in the 'Mode' dropdown. Then in 'Window' dropdown, find and select 'Counter-Strike: Global Offensive'. If CS:GO doesn't show up, try running both OBS and CS:GO as administrator. That usually does the trick!
