How to change a Tera Type in Pokemon Scarlet

Changing a Tera Type in Pokemon Scarlet is all about using Tera Shards! You gotta collect the specific Tera Shards that correspond to the Tera Type you want to change to. Once you've got enough, head to a Tera Raid Battle NPC, who can be found in towns or near Tera Raid crystals. Show them your shards, and voilà, your Pokémon's Tera Type changes. Just remember, it’s a bit of a grind to get those shards, so be ready to battle a lot of Tera Type Pokémon!

Honestly, just stick with the Tera Type you get. The whole shard hunting process can be more trouble than it's worth. Sometimes the adventure is in working with what you have, not changing it!

I changed my Pikachu's Tera Type to Water because I had a ton of Water Tera Shards from all those raids! It's pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. Make sure you're picking the Tera Type that'll give you a real edge in battles!
