Just plug in the new device and restart CS:GO. The game usually picks up the change automatically. No need to fiddle with settings.

Seriously guys, most of the time CS:GO gets it right by itself. Just make sure your device is set as the default device in your computer's sound settings before launching the game. Works like a charm!

Changing your input device in CS:GO is pretty straightforward if you know where to look. First off, hit 'Escape' to bring up the main menu in-game. Then go to 'Options', dive into the 'Audio Settings', and there you'll find a section for 'Device'. Here, you can drop down a menu that'll let you select your new input device, whether it's a headset, microphone, etc. Don't forget to hit 'Apply' to save the changes!

Honestly, I never had to manually change it. CS:GO just recognizes my headset every time I switch. Make sure your device is working properly outside the game.
