If you're old school and love the console, also remember 'mat_setvideomode' can switch you between fullscreen and windowed mode. For windowed mode, just add a '1' at the end instead of '0'.

Just go to settings, dude. Why bother with console commands when you can change it in the game options under video settings? Much simpler.

Easy peasy! Open your console in-game by pressing the tilde key (~). Then, type 'mat_setvideomode width height 0' - replace 'width' with your desired resolution width and 'height' with your desired resolution height. So if you wanna play in 1920x1080, it'd be 'mat_setvideomode 1920 1080 0'. Hit enter and boom, new res!
