How to Change CS:GO Server Location
Best answer
PingMaster
Simply use the console command 'mm_dedicated_search_maxping [value]' in CS:GO to prefer servers with lower ping. Replace [value] with your desired maximum ping for server matchmaking. This isn't exactly changing your server location, but it's a handy trick to get better connections!

Just play on the servers you got. Changing regions just to get easy wins isn't cool, and it ruins the game for everyone.

Changing your CS:GO server location to get better ping or join friends in different regions? You'll need to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network). By connecting to a VPN server located in the region you want to play in, your internet traffic will appear as if it's coming from that location, potentially lowering your ping and matching you with players in that area. Just remember, not all VPNs are created equal, so pick one with good speeds and plenty of server locations. And yes, it's totally legit and many players do it!

VPN's the way to go. But choose wisely, some can actually increase your ping. Always check reviews for gaming-friendly VPNs!
