How to change DirectX level in CS:GO

Changing the DirectX level in CS:GO isn't something you can do directly from the in-game settings, but you can sorta tweak it through the game's launch options. Right click on CS:GO in your Steam library, go to 'Properties,' then hit 'Set Launch Options.' Here you can type '-dxlevel <number>' (without quotes) where <number> reflects the version of DirectX you wanna use, like '-dxlevel 90' for DirectX 9.0. Just remember, CS:GO is pretty optimized for its default settings, so changing this might not always give you the boost you're looking for!

FYI, tried changing DirectX versions to see if it would help with FPS. Honestly, didn't notice a big difference. CS:GO runs pretty smooth most times anyway. Just focus on adjusting other settings for better performance.

This isn't gonna work. CS:GO automatically uses the best DirectX version supported by your system. No need to mess with launch options unless you're troubleshooting or experimenting.
