Honestly, just stick with the default hoverboard. Upgrading doesn't change the game that much, IMO.

Switching your hoverboard in Subway Surfers is super easy! Just start the game as you normally would, then as you're playing, pause it. You'll see an icon that looks like a hoverboard at the bottom of the screen. Tap on that, and voila! You'll see all the hoverboards you've unlocked or purchased. Just tap on the one you wanna ride, and you're all set to surf in style!
