Just type 'map mapname' in the console. For example, 'map de_inferno' if you wanna play Inferno. No need to complicate things with 'changelevel'.

Honestly, just use the server browser or start a new game with the map you want. Changing maps through the console feels a bit outdated with all the new UI updates.

Changing the map in CS:GO via console is pretty straightforward. First, you need to enable the developer console in the game settings if you haven't already. Then, hit the tilde key (~) to open the console while in the game. Type 'changelevel mapname' (without quotes), where 'mapname' is the technical name of the map you want to switch to. For instance, for Dust II, you'd type 'changelevel de_dust2'. And voilà, you're on your way to a new battleground!
