Honestly, just leaving your FPS at its default can save you from a lot of headaches. Messing with settings you don't fully understand can lead to worse performance, not better. Keep it simple!

fps_max 0 is the way to go. Unlimited FPS for the win!

Changing your max FPS in CS:GO is super easy! Just open the game and hit the tilde key (~) to bring up the console. Then you type in 'fps_max [number]' without the quotes, where [number] is the max FPS you want. For unlimited FPS, just type 'fps_max 0'. Remember, setting it too high can make your game unstable if your hardware isn't up to par.
