So you wanna get your comms right in CS:GO, yeah? Easy peasy. First thing, open up the game and hit 'Settings'. Dive into the 'Audio' section. You'll spot a dropdown menu for 'Microphone Device'. Click that bad boy and select the mic you wanna use. Remember to hit 'Apply' to save the changes. Boom, you're all set to call out those clutch plays to your team!

Honestly, just use whatever mic is set as default in your system settings. CS:GO's not picky unless you've got some weird setup.

Just plug in your mic before starting the game. CS:GO usually picks up the default device set in your system settings. If it's not the right one, change it in the Windows sound settings, then restart CS:GO. Should do the trick!

Had this exact problem last week! I realized my headset mic wasn't set as default in Windows. Changed it, restarted CS:GO, and it was all good. Make sure your preferred mic is the default device in your system's sound settings. Worked like a charm for me!
