Changing sprites in Stardew Valley is pretty simple but needs a little modding. You can use the Content Patcher mod which allows you to replace the game's default sprites with custom ones. First, you'll need to download and install SMAPI (Stardew Modding API) and then get the Content Patcher from Nexus Mods.
