Changing the tick rate in CS:GO is pretty straightforward if you're hosting your own server. To change it, you'll need to set the tick rate through the command line when starting the server. Use the command '-tickrate [value]' in your server launch options, where '[value]' is the tick rate you want. Common tick rates are 64 (default for most matchmaking) and 128 (often used in competitive and custom servers).

Honestly, unless you're super competitive, messing with tick rate isn't gonna change your life. Stick with the default and focus on improving your skills!
