How to change timescale in CS:GO

Changing the timescale in CS:GO is a breeze if you've got access to the console. First off, enable the console from the game settings. Once you're all set, hit the tilde key (~) to bring it up during a game or in a private lobby. Then, just type 'sv_cheats 1' to enable cheats (don't worry, you're not hacking the Pentagon here) and follow it with 'host_timescale [value]' where [value] is the speed you want. So, 'host_timescale 2' makes everything twice as fast, while 'host_timescale 0.5' gives you slo-mo vibes. Just remember, messing with time is a power only to be wielded in private lobbies unless you want to risk a time out from the game admins!

Honestly, changing timescale ruins the real pace of CS:GO. Why mess with perfection?

You just gotta open the console and type 'host_timescale X' where X is how fast or slow you wanna go. Make sure you've turned on cheats with 'sv_cheats 1' first or it won't work!
