Changing your CS:GO name is actually changing your Steam profile name since CS:GO uses your Steam account's profile name. Just open Steam, click on your profile name at the top right corner, then click 'View Profile.' From there, click 'Edit Profile' on the right side, and you'll find a field named 'Profile Name.' Change it to whatever you want, hit 'Save Changes,' and voila! Your CS:GO name will update to your new profile name.

Easy peasy! Go to Steam > Profile > Edit Profile > Profile Name. Change it, save, and your CS:GO name is new.

Honestly, why bother? Isn't your legendary username 'xXSniperGodXx' perfect as is? Anyway, if you MUST, just tweak your Steam profile name, and it'll reflect in CS:GO.
