How to connect a generator to a water purifier in Fallout 4

You gotta connect them with a wire. If the generator's not close enough to the purifier, you might need to place a power pylon in between and connect the generator to the pylon, then the pylon to the purifier. Power pylons are your best friend when things are a bit spaced out.

Super easy! Just make sure you've got both the generator and the water purifier placed in your settlement. Then, open your workshop menu, go to the Power section, and select 'Connectors and Switches' or just look for a wire if you've already unlocked it. Aim at the generator, press the attach wire button (the button depends on your platform), and then click on your water purifier to connect them. Voila, power! Remember, make sure your generator has enough juice (power) to run the purifier.

Just slap them together with a wire, but keep an eye on the power rating. Some purifiers are greedy with power and need more than one generator.

Honestly, it's like connecting Christmas lights but less festive. Generator + Wire + Purifier = Clean Water
