lol just make sure ur not trying to join a server on the other side of the planet. high ping = bad time

Fire up CS:GO, hit the tilde key to bring up the console, and punch in 'connect [server IP]'. Works every time, unless there's an issue with the server itself.

Easy peasy! Just open your CS:GO console by pressing the tilde key (~), which is usually right below the escape key on your keyboard. Once it's open, type 'connect' followed by the server's IP address. So it should look something like 'connect 123.456.78.90'. Hit enter, and you'll be on your way to joining the server!
