Starting a CS:GO LAN server is easier than you think! First, make sure all players are connected to the same network. Open CS:GO on your PC and choose 'Play' > 'Offline with Bots.' Once in, open the console (you might need to enable it in game settings first) and type 'sv_lan 1' to ensure the server is LAN-only. Then, type 'map de_dust2' (or any other map). Bam! Your LAN server is up. Just tell your buddies to connect to your IP address, and you're good to go!

Just host it online, way easier. LAN setups are so 2005.

Did this last weekend. Key thing? Make sure everyone's on the SAME network. Missed that and spent an hour troubleshooting why my pals couldn't join. Follow the steps, but double-check your network first!
