Just set your in-game resolution lower than your monitor's native resolution. Presto, stretched CS:GO. Don't overthink it.

Wanna get that stretched look in CS:GO to make targets easier to hit (or because it just looks cool)? First up, you gotta dive into your graphics card settings. For NVIDIA peeps, navigate to the NVIDIA Control Panel, then to 'Adjust desktop size and position', select 'Full-screen' under Scaling and make sure to pick the resolution you want to play CS:GO in. For the AMD crowd, right-click your Desktop, go to AMD Radeon Settings, hit 'Display', and enable GPU Scaling and select 'Full Panel'. Lastly, make sure CS:GO is set to the same resolution. Boom, stretched CS:GO!

Honestly, stretched resolution ain't all that. You're better off sticking to the native aspect ratio for the best visual experience. Just saying.
