To disable Steam notifications while you're deep in a CS:GO match, just open the Steam client and head to the 'Friends & Chat' window. Click on the gear icon to access settings, then navigate to the 'Notifications' tab. Here, you can customize which notifications you want to receive or don't. Simply uncheck the boxes for any notifications you want to disable during your game. This includes messages, game invites, and more, ensuring you can focus on the match without distractions.

Just hit Shift+Tab while in CS:GO to bring up the Steam Overlay. There, go to 'Settings' > 'In-Game' and uncheck the 'Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game' option. Boom, no more popups in the middle of your clutch!

Honestly, just turn off all the notifications. You don't need Steam to tell you every time someone comes online or sends a message. CS:GO requires focus, and you can't have that with constant pop-ups.
