First off, jump into the game settings by hitting the gear icon in the main menu. Look for 'Audio Settings,' and from there, you should see an option called 'Enable Voice Communication.' Make sure it's set to 'Yes.' Also, adjust the 'Microphone Volume' to your liking. Sometimes the issue might be from the Steam settings, so check those too. Go to Steam > Settings > Voice, and test your microphone there to make sure it's working.

Just press 'K'. Default push-to-talk key, my dudes. If that doesn't work, your settings might need a tweak or check your Steam settings.

In my experience, CS:GO is pretty weird with mics. For me, it turned out my mic was set to the wrong device in Windows settings. Make sure CS:GO (and Steam) is actually picking up the right mic. Go to your sound settings in Windows, set your desired mic as the 'Default Device,' and then double-check in Steam and CS:GO that they're using the default or select your specific mic manually.
