straight up, you can't do it in normal matchmaking. Gotta be in a custom game or have server controls to tweak time settings.

Unfortunately, you can't manually extend the round time mid-game in a standard online matchmaking game of CS:GO. However, if you're playing in a private server or a custom game, you can! Just open the console (enable it first from the game settings) and use the command "mp_roundtime_defuse 60" for bomb defusal maps. This sets the round time to 60 minutes, but you can set it to whatever you want. Just replace 60 with your desired number of minutes.

For those saying it's not doable in matchmaking, well, that's the point. Imagine everyone extending rounds on a whim. Chaos! Custom games are the playground for experimenting with time and rules.
