Honestly, just watch highlights on YouTube. Saves time and you get to the good parts without messing with controls.

Just hit Shift+F2 and speed it up. Don't overcomplicate things.

Fast forwarding in CS:GO is pretty straightforward if you're watching a demo. Just press 'Shift' + 'F2' to bring up the demo playback controls, and then you can use the slider or the buttons to fast forward through the demo. If you're in a hurry, typing 'demo_timescale 5' (or any number greater than 1) in the console will speed things up even more, just remember to set it back to 1 to watch at normal speed!
