First thing, check if it's just CS:GO acting up or your whole system. Try playing some music or another game to see if you're getting sound. If it's just CS:GO, go into the game settings and make sure your audio settings are correct. Sometimes, the game might switch to a different audio device, especially if you've recently plugged in new hardware. Another quick fix is to type 'snd_restart' in the console. This command restarts the game's sound engine and can magically fix audio issues without restarting the whole game.

Had the same problem last week and realized my headset was connected as a communication device instead of stereo. Fixed it by going into the Sound settings in Windows, finding my headset, and setting it as the default device. Make sure you check both playback and recording tabs!
