How to Fix CS:GO Crashing When Loading a Map

CS:GO crashing can be super annoying, especially when you're just trying to jump into a game. First off, try verifying the integrity of game files through Steam. Right-click CS:GO in your library, go to Properties -> Local Files -> Verify integrity of game files. If that doesn't work, try updating your graphics drivers and make sure your system meets the game's requirements. Sometimes, outdated drivers or not meeting system specs can cause these crashes.

Just reinstall the game lol. Fixes most problems. 🤷♀️

I had this issue, and it turned out to be a corrupted map file. Deleting the map file and redownloading it fixed the crash for me. If you know which map is causing the issue, try that!

If CS:GO still crashes after verifying files and updating drivers, you might want to reduce your video settings. Some maps are more demanding than others. Lowering settings can sometimes prevent crashes. Worked for me!
