How to fix CS:GO not launching

Oh boy, been there! First thing, check if your game files are corrupted. Open Steam, go to your Library, right-click on CS:GO, select 'Properties,' then 'Local files,' and hit 'Verify integrity of game files.' This usually does the trick. Also, make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can cause all sorts of launch issues.

Had the same issue last week. Turned out my antivirus was blocking CS:GO because it mistook it for a threat. Try disabling your antivirus temporarily and see if that helps.
AdminRightsFTW
Just run it as admin. Right-click on the CS:GO exe and select 'Run as administrator.' Sometimes it's just about giving it that extra permission.
LastResort
Reinstall the game. If nothing else works, deleting and downloading CS:GO again might be your best bet. It's a pain, but it can clear up any stubborn issues that other methods can't fix.
UpdateWizard
Try updating Windows. Sometimes CS:GO won't launch because your operating system needs an update. Especially with CS2 out, you wanna make sure everything's up to date.
