Try enabling multicore rendering in the game settings. It helped me squeeze out some extra FPS. Also, play around with the video settings; sometimes it's just about finding the right balance for your setup. And don't forget to keep your PC clean of dust! Overheating can cause major performance drops.

Honestly, just get a better PC. CS:GO isn't that demanding, so if you're having issues, it might be time for an upgrade.

First off, make sure your PC meets the minimum specs for CS:GO. Update your graphics card drivers and consider lowering your game settings. High settings can tank your FPS, especially on older systems. Also, check your PC for any background applications that might be hogging resources. Shutting these can sometimes improve performance significantly!

Lower your resolution. Seriously, it might make the game look a bit worse, but the FPS boost is absolutely worth it if you're struggling to keep things smooth.
