How to Fix Microphone on CS:GO

First off, make sure your mic is set as the default device in Windows. Right-click the sound icon in the system tray, go to 'Sounds' > 'Recording' tab, and set your mic as the default device. Then, in CS:GO, go to Settings > Audio Settings and ensure your mic is selected. Sometimes, giving CS:GO admin rights can fix mic issues too, so right-click on the game in Steam, go to Properties > Local Files > Browse, right-click on the CS:GO exe, and set it to run as administrator.

Don't forget to check if your mic is on mute! I spent hours troubleshooting once only to find out my mic was muted. Also, make sure CS:GO has access to your microphone in Windows privacy settings. Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone and allow apps to access your microphone.

Just restart your PC, man. Fixes it 9 times out of 10.

Y'all complicating things. Most times, it's just CS:GO being funky. A simple game restart does wonders.
