Firewall might be the culprit! Go to your Windows Firewall settings and make sure Valorant is allowed through. Games need to communicate with their servers, and if your firewall is blocking this, it could be causing the issue.

Reinstall the game. I know, it sounds like a pain, but sometimes the simplest solutions work best. Uninstall Valorant, restart your PC, and then download and install it again. A fresh install can do wonders.

Don't forget to check if your antivirus is being overly protective and flagging Valorant. Sometimes antiviruses can mistake games for malicious software. Try adding Valorant as an exception in your antivirus program settings. Worked like a charm for me!

Usually, this error points to a permissions issue. Right-click on your Valorant shortcut or exe file and go to Properties -> Security tab. Check if your user account has full control. If not, edit it to have full permissions. Also, try running the game as an admin by right-clicking the shortcut and selecting 'Run as administrator'. Sometimes, it's just about telling Windows you're the boss!
